SADE Research Group

SADE is a joint organization subordinate to the three National Gastroenterological Societies in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, with the purpose to:

  • Promote interest, knowledge, teaching and research within and outside the Scandinavian countries with interest within gastrointestinal endoscopy.

  • Support and promote interaction with GI nurses and assistants.

  • Organize courses in digestive endoscopy and other teaching activities. These activities can also be organized in collaboration with other national societies and the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE).

The research group meets twice a year to discuss and initiate scientific studies like: the ANDRE Cannulation Study, Papilla Image Study, Prophylactic p-stents in severe acute pancreatitis, Prospective Pancreatic Stent Study.
